About
Brody had to escape. Between his mother and the family preacher, all he heard was about the evils of the world and how liberals were bad for the country. And each encouraged him to find a nice Christian girl to marry who would give him many children. Only he didn’t want a nice Christian girl, or any girl for that matter. But he knew nothing about being gay. He hoped a new life in Fort Worth would give him a chance, and what better place than graduate school at the university there?
Gage had lost his lover to suicide and had moved to Fort Worth with his best friend Terri. They had bonded in junior high in Houston. He was gay, and she was fine with that. The new city would let him recover in an environment that held no memories.
When Brody admitted to his mother that he was gay, the intervention challenged everyone. Could Brody escape the clutches of his mother and the preacher? Could his mother ever accept his gay side? Could Gage ever get his Brodes back?
